At the initiative of our Chairman and Board, Identita Malta's CEO, Mr. Steve Agius, invited ATTO to a meeting on Monday, 4th November 2024, at their headquarters. Top executives attended, including Dr. Paula Cauchi, Chief of Operations and Immigration Affairs, and Ms. Tania Brown, Chief Policy and Strategy Officer, to discuss essential issues concerning residence permits for TCN drivers. Also present were Mr. Joseph Bugeja, the Chairman, Ms. Elaine Galea from Fahrenheit, Mr. Tonio Farrugia from ATTRANS, Mr. Etienne Attard from Express, and the Secretary-General of ATTO.
During the meeting, a strategy was developed to address current challenges and adjust policies to recognize and support the value of our industry.
