It is with great pleasure that we present the second edition of ATTO’s Newsletter for August 2025.
This issue features a wealth of insightful contributions from senior government officials, renowned local and international logistics experts, and distinguished members of our organisation. Their perspectives and expertise greatly enrich the content of this publication.
A particular highlight for ATTO is the strengthening of its collaborative relationship with the national transport authority, Transport Malta. The two entities have identified several critical areas requiring close cooperation, with a notable example being the ambitious eFTI4ALL Project, which is featured prominently in this edition.
This project aims to establish a harmonised approach to the operation of eFTI (electronic Freight Transport Information) Gates and to implement a common reference architecture for the exchange of logistics and transport data across the nine participating EU Member States.
The Chairman and all members of ATTO extend their sincere appreciation to the team at Transport Malta for their dedication and professionalism. We look forward to continued collaboration and progress in these joint efforts.
We trust you will find this edition both informative and engaging.
