It was a great honour for the Chairman, the Board Members to host the three MEPs yesterday, 30th July 2024, at our headquarters, thanks to NOUV. The Chairman and the Board Members are pleased to inform you that it was a very constructive meeting. They would like to express their appreciation to our European Members of Parliament for accepting our invitation.
This meeting was a continuation of our first discussion with Hon. Dr. Alex Agius Saliba before the MEP election, where we agreed to reconvene once the delegation was composed. The meeting provided both sides with the opportunity to explain current developments and the challenges ahead.
We are very confident that yesterday’s meeting will enable us to continue addressing common issues jointly, in the interest of the Maltese economy and industry.
Additionally, it was a great opportunity for ATTO to present the attached report to the delegation, covering:
“Priorities for the new EU Mandate 2024-2029: Position of the Road Haulage Industry of Malta, Cyprus, and Ireland” The Chairman and the Board Members thank the three Members for their time and wish them the best of luck in their new, challenging roles.
